These two, beautiful, swirl white Gladding McBean individual sized dishes with lids and handles are from the 1930's. Each dish is marked with the oval GMCB mark. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The glazed interior of each bowl is pristine. One bowl's handle does have a black wear mark (see photo). The swirl design finials on each lid are nicely rounded and easy to hold. Frog hollow vintage decor sees these dishes with so many repurposed uses in their future. From holding tea bags on your coffee/tea bar to perhaps jewelry on your bedroom vanity. The two dishes are being sold as a set. Details are-

The majority of the items used for the vignettes are antiques or thrift store finds and not reproductions. Ironstone dishes and other antiques have the built in character of crazing, minor chips, browning and other signs of use through the years. This authentic look of age and wear all lends itself to the romance of french country or the comfort of farmhouse bringing character and charm to your home.
