These rustic free formed salad plates are just perfect for layering in a hutch display or stacking together using a chicken feeder style plate rack. The single embossed rooster on the plate edge screams French farmhouse. Frog Hollow vintage decor is offering the plates as a group of 4. The plates are used and do have some knife markings as well as  chips to the glazed surface. That, however, shouldn't limit their next life as farmhouse decor in a kitchen hutch. Be sure to look closely at all the detail photos to see the imperfections on the plates as well as read the descriptions in the details section below. Details for these plates are-

  • 4- 9” luncheon plates- I Godinger & Co; the plates do have utensil marks with some of the surface glaze chipped on 2 of the plates; 1 plate has 2 chips on the front edge and another plate has 1 chip on the edge; all 4 plates have smaller flea bite style chips on the edges and crazing

The majority of the items used for the vignettes are antiques or thrift store finds and not reproductions. Ironstone dishes and other antiques have the built in character of crazing, minor chips, browning and other signs of use through the years. This authentic look of age and wear all lends itself to the romance of french country or the comfort of farmhouse bringing character and charm to your home.
