This wonderfully unique ironstone pitcher is a Henry Alcock design celebrating the famous Barnum and Bailey circus elephant Jumbo. In addition to the fantastic elephant head on the handle there are 4 raised flower motifs or possibly exploding fireworks in keeping with the circus theme. The pitcher is exquisite! There is a break at the top of the handle but it doesn't distract. It would be best not to hold the pitcher by the handle alone as the break does not appear to be fixed. Details for the pitcher are-
